NEW DELHI, Apr 22: Skill development training centers under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna will be opened within two months in all Parliamentary constituencies where premises for the purpose are available, the Lok Sabha was informed today.
This was announced by Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy during Question Hour.
Mr Rudy said premises buildings of schools, colleges or other Government installations, if available, could also be used on part-time basis. He said around 10 crores youths were targeted to be provided skill development training by 2020 and the Government had decided to open at least one training centre in each of the constituency. “This would be done as soon as premises are available for the purpose,” the Minister added.
