SAMBA, July 17: The body of a six year boy was fished out from a pond at village Diani in Samba district by police today.
He has been identified as Sammar , 6, son of Ashok Kumar resident of Salam Chak R S Pura, Jammu.
According to reports, Sammar had come to his relative’s house in the village Diani in Samba district yesterday and he went missing. His relatives lodged a written complaint in Police Station Samba. The police swung into action and searched the body yesterday but could not locate it. The police again launched the search operation today and the body was located from the pond. Later it was shifted to District Hospital Samba for autopsy. The Samba police has registered a case in this regard.
