Six terrorists killed in Pak :CTD spokesperson

Islamabad, Jan 9: Six terrorists were killed in a shootout with police in Balochistan province in Pakistan, spokesperson of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police said.
The spokesperson said the incident happened late Saturday night near the Eastern Bypass area of Quetta district when the CTD conducted an operation. A few terrorists fled the site taking advantage of the darkness, he added.
The alleged terrorists were associated with the Islamic State group, the spokesperson said, adding one of the killed was a wanted terrorist who carried a head money of 2 million Pakistani rupees (over 11,000 US dollars).
The anti-terror police recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives from the raided place, the spokesperson said.
