Six injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 14: Six persons were injured today in two separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, four passengers were injured when a mini-bus  rolled down the road in Roopnagar area falling under the limits of police post Chinore. They were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Sahil Sharma (20) son of Mulkh Raj of Bantalab, Priya (20) and Preeti (22), both daughters of Dev Raj of Chinore and Arun Sharma (22) son of Rajinder Kumar of Sunderbani.
Another mishap occurred at Panjgrian in Nagrota area where a rashly driven swift car bearing registration number JK02AQ-6500 lost control and rolled down the road. The mishap happened this evening when the car was on its way from Udhampur to Jammu. In the mishap, two unknown occupants of the car received serious injuries. They were taken to GMCH, where they were still unfit for making any statement and to reveal their identity.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
