Six injured while flying kites

JAMMU, Aug 25: Six persons including two minor boys were injured today on the occasion of Krishan Janamasthami either by falling from the height or by Chinese thread while flying kite in various parts of Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, from early morning to late evening about six persons from various parts of the city reached Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for treatment of their injuries, which they sustained while flying kites. He said, however most of them injured while falling from height.
He said that the injured have been identified as Paramjeet Singh (7) son of Sardool Singh, resident of Subash Nagar, Manu (18) son of Rajinder, resident of Kabir Basti, Rahul Verma (24) son of Darshan Lal Verma, resident of Peer Mitha, Rohit Chopra (13) son of Sanjeev Chopra, resident of Rajouri, Rajat Sharma (26) son of Rajan Dogra, resident of Talab Tillo and Ganga Ram (30) son of Hans Raj, resident of RS Pura.
