JAMMU, Mar 25: The High Court has granted retrospective effect to the promotion of six of its officers, making them effective from December 30, 2025.
The decision comes after approval of the recommendations made by the Committee for Appointment and Promotion of High Court Staff.
Earlier, the promotions were issued vide Order No. 92 of 2026 dated January 23, 2026, but will now be treated as notionally in force from the date the committee adopted its resolution.
Those who benefit from the order include Ajay Sharma, Dalip Razdan, Shahji Bhat, Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani, Nazir Ahmad Ganai and Asima Illiyas Chesti.
