JAMMU, Jan 27: Pacca Danga police today arrested six gamblers along with Rs 3,210 stake money.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Pacca Danga police station conducted a raid near Manda and arrested six gamblers along with Rs 3,210 stake money and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Doondh Singh of Bakshi Nagar, Mohammad Qasim, son of Mohammad Din of Budhal, district Rajouri, Sukhvinder, son of Mohinder Singh of Bakshi Nagar, Susheel Kumar, son of Subash Chand of Janipur, Raman Kumar, son of Chaman Lal of Nai Basti and Ashok Kumar, son of Kuldeep Kumar of Janipur.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
Police team headed by SHO Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Kulbir Handa and SP City Yougal Manhas.
