SAMBA, Oct 13: A police party of Police Post Rakhambtali headed by SI Chetan Kumar incharge Police Post Rakhambtali conducted a raid at village Bainglar and nabbed six gamblers namely Sunil Kumar S/o Sardari Lal R/o Glar, Prehlad Kumar S/o Vasu Dev R/o Bain, Ranjit Singh S/o Pyara Singh R/o Bainglar, Sunil Singh S/o Jangbir Singh R/o Rakhambtali, Kuldeep Singh S/o Shajju Singh R/o Chak Manga and Ram Paul S/o Bodh Raj R/o Bainglar and recovered stake money of Rs. 10,750/- along with playing cards from their possession. All of them were booked under 13 Gambling Act.
A handout issued by District Police Samba said that it has launched a drive against the habitual offenders/ notorious criminals and gamblers in the district under the directions of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra.
