Six-day Career Counseling workshop concludes at GCW Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, Feb 6: Six-day workshop on a series of topics related to career counseling concluded today at Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar.
The workshop was conducted by Career Counseling Cell of the college in two phases. The first phase was conducted from January 21 to 23 whereas the second phase began on February 4 and concluded today.
Speaking on the valedictory function, Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College, said that the workshop was aimed at equipping the students with knowledge and skills so as to enable them to grow into confident individuals capable of making right career choices.
The resource persons of the workshop included Mahesh Dutt Bali, Prof Kavita Suri, Dr Neelima G, Dr Manisha Kohli and Prof Amitpal Kaur. They expressed their views on various topics like Women and Entrepreneur Skills, Life Skills, Personality and Clothing, Women and Human Rights, Personality Development and Communication Skills.
All the sessions were very informative. The students interacted zealously in all the sessions. The workshop was coordinated by Prof Anjali Bhat, convenor Career Counseling Cell.
