RAMBAN, June 3: Police arrested six persons along with Rs 9,300 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Ramban Police Station conducted raid in Sonari Mohallah and apprehended six gamblers along with Rs 9,300 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Vinod Anand, Sanjay Kumar, Aziz Par, Vikrant Singh, Surjeet Singh and Jatinder Singh.
A case under FIR Number 75/2020 under Section 188 and 270 IPC, 13 Gambling Act and 51 DM Act have been registered against the arrested persons at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Sunil Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Haseeb-Ur-Rehman.
