Situation worsening in J&K: JWAM

JAMMU, Apr 24: Taking out a protest rally in support of security forces, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today demanded imposition of Governor Rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of activists of JWAM led by their president, Sunil Dimple today assembled at New Plot on High Court road and staged a protest. The JWAM activists shouted slogans against the PDP-BJP Government in the State for their failure to control law and order situation in Kashmir.
The protesters also shouted slogans in support of Army, J&K police, CRPF and BSF, which have been fighting war in the State against the Pakistan sponsored Kashmir unrest. They also burnt Pakistan flags, effigies of Nawaz Sharief, Pakistan and the separatist leaders.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple extended full support to Army, BSF, CRPF and police fighting against the militancy in the State. Dimple said that all our jawans and officers of security forces are pride of the Nation and the BJP-PDP Government is registering the cases against these security forces who are fighting battle for the Nation.
Dimple demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to impose Governor Rule in the State for one year without any delay if he wants all things to settle and the State to return on the path of development.
He said it is very disappointing that the situation is worsening in the State day by day but to please the Central BJP leaders, Governor N N Vohra is silently watching all this instead of recommending the Central Government to impose Governor Rule in the State. Dimple also demanded continuation of AFSPA and free hand to security forces in the State.
