Situation in Kashmir under control but fragile: CRPF IG

SRINAGAR: The situation in Kashmir was “under control but fragile” and the number of stone-pelting incidents in the Valley has decreased, a senior officer of the CRPF said today.

Inspector General of the CRPF, Srinagar, Ravideep Singh Sahi told reporters here that around 250 militants were active in the Valley.

“The situation in the Kashmir Valley is under control but fragile. We have seen a reduction in the number of stone- pelting incidents in the recent past,” he said. (AGENCIES)
