Singla appointed Director in NHA-ABD Mission

JAMMU, May 25: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, has appointed 2012-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Piyush Singla as Director in the National Health Authority–Ayushman Bharat Digital (ABD) Mission under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Office of the Establishment Officer, Singla was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs and has been selected for the new assignment from the date of taking over charge of the post.
The tenure will remain co-terminus with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and may be extended up to the admissible tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme or until further orders.
The memorandum stated that Singla should be relieved immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment in Delhi.
It also noted that, as per ACC directions conveyed through a DoPT circular dated August 17, 2005, an officer must join the post within three weeks from the date of issuance of the appointment order, failing which the process of debarment from the Central Staffing Scheme may be initiated.
Singla is currently serving as Secretary, Information Technology Department, Jammu and Kashmir Government, besides holding the additional charge of the Administrative Secretary, Public Grievances Department.
