Singh takes over as GOC 16 Corps

JAMMU, Apr 16: Lt. Gen KH Singh assumed command of the White Knight Corps from Lieutenant General DS Hooda, who moves on posting after 18 months of command.
In his farewell message, General Hooda complimented all ranks of White Knight Corps (16 Corps) for their professionalism and dedication and thanked the civil administration for the excellent synergy with the Armed Forces.
Lt. Gen. Singh was commissioned into the Rajput Regiment in 1978 and is an Infantry soldier with vast operational experience. He has commanded a battalion in Siachin Glacier and a Division on the Line of Control including prestigious staff and instructional appointments.
