Sindhu loses in quarters; crashes out of China Open

FUZHOU, China: Indian ace shuttler PV Sindhu who was the only last hope for the Indian contingent at the China Open Superseries Badminton crashed out of the tournament after losing in the quarter-final to her Chinese opponent Gao Fangjie here on Friday.
The World no 2 Sindhu lost the match 11-21, 10-21 in her quarter-final match against the Chinese teenager. With this win Fangjie has booked her palce for the semi-final of the China Open Superseries. Fangjie ranked 89th in world ranking entirely overpowered the world no 2 Sindhu in her opening game with her quick reflexes on court and wide range of shots giving no chance to Sindhu winning the first game comfortably.
