JAMMU, Oct 22: Various Sikh bodies of the region have urged upon the Divisional Commissioner Jammu to implement the High Court orders regarding DPGC elections.
A deputation of the representatives from various Sikh bodies called on the Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu here today and urged upon him to take control of the DGPC Jammu till the elections for the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee are held. They demanded that High Court orders be implement in letter and spirit. It was stressed upon by the members to set up a committee which shall look into the affairs of the committee. The Divisional Commissioner assured them to implement the court orders.
Prominent among those who accompanied include Suchet Singh, Lachman Singh, Makhan Singh, Mohinder Singh, Bachan Singh, Ramneek Singh, Paramjeet, Dharminder Singh and Manmohan Singh.
