The meeting said the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohd Sayeed who in his Party  manifesto during the elections held in 2014 had made many promises with the people of the State  but had failed to fulfill these promises which included grant of Cabinet berth to Sikhs, representation to the community in Public Service Commission and Service Selection Board.
It said while the BJP has given representation to a member of Sikh community in the Upper Housed but the PDP led  Mufti Mohd Sayeed had  ignored any Sikh member representation to Rajya Sabha,
Even those who have lost the elections have been nominated to Upper House. This has given a severe jolt to Sikh organizations. In last 67 years no Government ignored the Sikhs whereas PDP has ignored the community.
Criticizing PDP the Sikh organizations said that the community has overwhelmingly supported the Party in 2014 elections. The meeting said the community is surprised over the attitude of  Mr Sayeed who has ignored the community totally.
