JAMMU, May 9: The language wing of State Institute of Education (SIE), organized poetry recitation competition in the Regional languages of the State (Kavi Ghosti), here today.
HR Pakhroo, Joint Director (trgs)/ Principal SIE Jammu inaugurated the competition and stressed upon holding such programmes.
SL Tengloo, Field Advisor of the Language Wing presented welcome address, while the programme was coordinated by Alka Sahrma, Research Officer of the Wing.
Ten students participated in the competition and Sumit Kumar of Govt HSS Doda bagged the first prize, second and third prize went to Bandana Sharma of HSS Vijaypur and Ab Shakoor of Boys HSS Rajouri.
Field Advisors Kulwant Kour and Nath Ram and KK Badyal, Principal were the adjudicators of the event.
The vote of thanks was presented by Rakhi Attri, RO of the Language Wing.
