JAMMU, Nov 22: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti has nominated Ashok Kumar Sidha president and R K Pardesi as general secretary of Migrant Cell of the Party respectively.
The announcement to this effect was made by Party general secretary, Sartaj Ahmed Madni here today. It may be recalled that the party had already nominated Ramesh Kaul as the chairman of the Migrant Cell.
Meanwhile, the Migrant Cell of the party has expressed satisfaction over the decision and expressed the hope that the general grievances of displaced Pandits will be solved by the Government especially by Relief and Rehabilitation Department. The Cell expressed the hope that Sidha and Pardesi will work for the betterment of the community.
