SRINAGAR, Apr 4: Managing Director, J&K SIDCO, Amit Sharma along with a team of officers of the Corporation made an extensive tour of SIDCO Industrial Estates located in Kashmir to assess the progress of developmental works.
During the tour, the team led by MD Amit Sharma visited Electronic Complex Rangreth wherein progress on Common Effluent Treatment Plant was assessed and timelines were drawn for completion of its work within few months. He also issued spot instructions for proposer garbage collection and its disposal through proper disposal bins so that there is no pollution in the Estate due to it.
Amit Sharma also visited Temporary NIFT Campus and gave instructions to his team for proper fencing of same from all sides and maintaining its ambience safe and secure for upcoming new batches here. While interacting with Industrial Association heads here, SIDCO team noted down all suggestions for improving landscaping and civil installations.
The MD SIDCO also visited Khunmoh Industrial Estate and assessed the construction works of CETP, Fire Station building, lanes and drains works and other developmental works. GM SIDCO Ajaz Aga also apprised MD SIDCO that the team is ready to take-up Wuyan development work which is adjoining Khunmoh Estate wherein lot of pending prospective entrepreneurs will be given land by SIDCO whose applications are lying pending.
In the last leg, the MD toured Shalteng Industrial Estate located near HMT in the heart of city wherein spot instructions were given to improve the quality of drain work, improvement of power station, completion of boundary wall work. He also gave a patient hearing to all the grievances of industrialists of Shalteng Estate and directed the Estates Manager to report back on same with solutions to their issues.
Amit Sharma also directed GM SIDCO and SE and XEns of SIDCO that while incorporating all future work plans in respective Industrial Estates of SIDCO, suggestions of Industry representatives be taken before finalizing them so that all stakeholders’ issues are addressed.
