JAMMU, July 13: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) today took remand of Rafiq Lala, involved in narco-terrorism case for his questioning as he is reported to have links across the border.
Hailing from Danna Doyiyan area of Sathra in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district, Rafiq Lala was arrested earlier in connection with narco-terror case but later it was established that he had developed deep links across the border.
The SIA team took Rafiq Lala along with it on remand for questioning to ascertain his links both across as well as within the border.
During his arrest, police had recovered large amount of cash and huge quantity of narcotics from his possession.
His role in some terror cases in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch is also under investigation.
