JAMMU, Dec 30: Shudhi Pooja was performed by Pujaris of J&K Dharmarth Trust at the shrine of Jwala Mata Ji at Khrew, in Pulwama district of Kashmir valley.
President of the Trust, Major General (Rtd), R S Jamwal, also participated in Shudhi Poojan function at the shrine of Jwala Mata Ji.
It is pertinent to note here that Dharmarth Trust has voluntarily taken the responsibility to rebuild the holy shrine, which had gutted in a major fire nearly a month ago.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamwal said that the construction work will be started on priority and the sanctity and glory will be restored keeping in view its importance and status among Hindus in general and Kashmiri Pandits in particular.
Others who were present on the occasion included Additional Secretary Dharmarth Trust, General Manager, Mata Khir Bhawani Temple, Kashmir and a large number of devotees including local Muslims. The parsad was also offered to the devotees.
