Shrine Board organises free medical camp

KATRA, Dec 27: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board today organised a free medical camp in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Kakryal at village Danga Kote in Bhamag in Reasi district.
Dr. M. K. Kumar, Additional CEO of the Shrine Board, giving details, informed that the medical camp was organised as part of social support initiative of the Board for the benefit of the erstwhile-Baridar families and other inhabitants of the remote areas of Reasi district on the backside of Trikuta Hills adjoining the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.
The team of doctors from Superspeciality Hospital, Kakryal comprised Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Ikshit Sharma and Dr. Manu Saini. They examined 383 patients of Devi Gargh, Tote, Sukhal Ghati, Phogari, Chirala Kote, Harode Kote, Danga Kote, Kothri and other nearby areas suffering from different ailments and advised them suitably. The Shrine Board provided free of cost medicines to the patients in the medical camp.
The people of the area lauded the Shrine Board’s efforts for organising the medical camp and making available services of specialist doctors nearer to their homes.
Among those present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, Officer on Special Duty, Revenue, other officers and staff of the Shrine Board, prominent persons of the area besides paramedics and other staff of the hospital.
