Promotional avenues of staff restructured

JAMMU, Oct 22: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Anshul Garg today enumerated various significant measures for the general welfare of the Shrine Board employees which include enhancement of hardship allowance for 1450 employees posted at Higher Altitudes, promotion of 131 employees of various groups, restructuring of various cadres for latter promotional avenues, one time relaxation in qualification for transition to MR to Term Employee & Term Employee to Graded structure, compassionate appointments and revision of scales.
The announcements to this effects were made today by Garg while addressing the Board employees.
The CEO also lauded the efforts made by the officers and staff of the Board at all levels in ensuring smooth facilitation of pilgrims visiting the holy cave shrine besides, appreciating their instrumental role in helping the shrine.
He underscored that with the determined efforts of employees and blessings of the Divine, yatra to the holy shrine has tremendously increased as compared to the previous two years which has been possible due to the all round efforts.
He stressed upon all employees to ensure greater facilitation of pilgrims visiting the holy cave Shrine, which have been widely acclaimed, adding that all of us need to redouble our efforts and no stone should be left unturned to provide best possible services to the pilgrims to make the pilgrimage a memorable experience for them.
Pertinently, 5-storey Durga Bhawan to cater to 2000 pilgrims per day and Sky Walk to overcome the problem of multidirectional flow of yatra are being executed at a brisk pace under the guidance of Chairman, SMVDSB.
Earlier, Dr. Sunil Sharma, Joint Chief Executive Officer enlisted the initiatives by the Shrine Board for the welfare of the staff in a very short span with wishes to the staff on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
