JAMMU, Oct 11: Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti (ABDPSS) J&K will organise a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah Katha at Bakshi Nagar from October 14 to 20 on the auspicious Mahanavmi to Poornima of Ashwin month of Hindu calendar.
In a press conference here today ABDPSS Organiser, Raman Sharma informed that on Thursday October 14, 2021, Kalash Yatra will be taken out at 11 am while from October 14 to 20 there shall be daily Hawan from 7 am and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from 1 pm to 5 pm. He also said that on the last day of Katha, that is, on October 20, a grand Sant Sammelan will be held at 11 am which will be followed by Vishal Bhandara.
Speaking on the occasion Sudershan Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Samiti said that Katha will be organised at Bakshi Nagar.
Committee Spokesman, Swarn Kanta appealed to the people from all walks of life to come and be part of the seven day long Katha amidst full precautions of COVID-19 pandemic.
