JAMMU, Apr 19: Shri Ram Sena and Poor Students Helpers Association on Saturday distributed study material to the students of Sanatan Dharam Kanya Vidhalya, Julaka Mohalla, Jammu.
On the occasion, State president Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan and president Poor Students Helpers Association, Bal Krishan Arora distributed note books among the school students.
They also distributed scholarships among the meritorious students of the school.
Rajiv Mahajan in his address emphasized on the need of providing education to the children, who alone can ensure development of an area.
He also appealed to the people of Jammu city to come forward to help poor and needy youth to harness their talent both in academic and extracurricular activities.
Study material and scholarships were distributed among Priya, Arjun, Gourav, Joy, Avinash, Kirti, Pallavi, Janvi, Madhusudan, Diksha, Tansika, Sahil, Sonia, Krishna, Muskan, Hasim, Sakshi, Sujal, Bhoomi, Aman Dogra and Retik.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were S Kirpal Singh and Arpan Mahajan.
