Sir,
This has reference to the news item in which the Congress in Kerala has asked Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha member Shashi Tharoor to stop praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It does not behove a party like Indian National Congress to stoop to such a level as to stop a member of the party from praising a person from another party. If the Congress reserves the right to slam its opponents for their misdeeds, or not shouldering their responsibility well, it should at the same time show maturity by praising their opponent for good work.
By doing so its esteem will not fall, rather it will enhance mainfold in the eyes of public.
Besides, the statement by the MP in question will not shake the foundation of the old party. Time and again, the party has shown capacity to withstand shocks and surprises and it has enough resilience to bounce back with a bang.
Yours etc…
