SAMBA, Mar 17: Ghagwal police has arrested owner of a shop cum khokha near NHW Jatwal for illegal sale of liquor in his khokha.
According to the police, acting on tipoff regarding illegal sale of liquor in Jatwal area, a police party of Police Station, Ghagwal headed by SHO raided a shop cum khokha located near NHW Jatwal and recovered some quantity of liquor used to sell among the public by the owner of khokha.
The accused namely Malhar Chand Sharma, S/o Bhagat Ram of Jatwal, Ghagwal was arrested on the spot and a case FIR No. 22/2020 U/S 50/48 (F) stands registered against him under Excise Act at PS Ghagwal.
