UDHAMPUR, May 4: In a freak incident, a motorcyclist died when a shooting stone hit him on the National Highway near Samroli this morning.
The deceased identified as CRPF Jawan Mohd Rouf (38), son of Salamat Ullah, resident of Latti. Riding motorcycle JK14H-6917, he was on way to Jammu from Latti when a big shooting stone hit him near Samroli.
Some locals and police immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to District Hospital Udhampur where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
