JAMMU, May 4: Under the auspices of the Department of Hindi and other Indian Languages, Central University of Jammu, a solo poetry seminar was organized, here today under the program ‘Rachna se Mulaqat.’ The invited poet and speaker of today’s program was famous litterateur Dr Ramdarsh Mishra.
While starting the program, the convener of the Program and the chairman of the Hindi and other Indian Languages Department, Prof Rasal Singh presented the outline of the program and the literary works of Dr Ramdarash Mishra.
Dr Ramdarsh Mishra, a senior poet and eminent litterateur, spell bounded the audience with his representative poems and Ghazals like ‘Nadi’, ‘Chidiya’. ‘Ghar’, ‘Kalam’, ‘Maa’, ‘Chitthiyan’, ‘Sawal’ etc. He then shared his early life struggles and village memories. While speaking on the topic ‘Process of Creation of Poetry’, he said that the authenticity of experience is necessary for the process of creation.
Dr. Vinay Kumar Shukla, Assistant Professor of the Department of Hindi and Other Indian Languages, conducted the Program. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr Shashank Shukla, Associate Professor of the Department.
