JAMMU, Nov 15: Prof Shohab Inayat Malik, Head of the Department of Urdu and Director Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu has been nominated as member of General Council of Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (AACL). The nomination has been made under article 12 of Academy constitution. He has been nominated in General Council for five years to represent Urdu Board of Studies in General Council.
Prof Malik is a prolific Urdu who has authored seventeen books. He is the General Secretary of the All India Urdu University Teachers Association. He is also associated with various Universities of the country.
