JAMMU, June 18: Duty Magistrate Jammu Vinod Kumar today granted 13 days judicial remand of the then SHO Khour Mohammad Iqbal Chagattaa and SPO Mamta Kumari, who were arrested in rape case.
Before granting judicial remand of accused persons, the Magistrate observed, “the offences are heinous in nature and the investigation of the case is still in progress”. “This court is satisfied that there are sufficient grounds for granting judicial remand of the accused persons”, he added.
