HARIDWAR, Apr 13: On the fifth day of “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Katha”, Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj said that I have come here to tell the story of Shivaji Maharaj but as much as I am saying this, I am also listening to equally profound knowledge.
In the program, Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj said that the whole country is proud of Shivaji Maharaj’s character, personality and his ‘sadhana’. Swami ji said, “Shivaji is an incarnation of Lord Shiva as well as a person of power, devotion and nationalism. He is a great pride of our Sanatani tradition.” “Shivaji is the biggest ideal or role model of more than 100 crore Indians who arouse inspiration of ‘Sanatan Dharm’ and ‘Rashtriya Dharm’ in them,” Ramdev added.
Swami ji said that there are one or two main elements of the character of any great man, such as Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram is the complete incarnation of God. He said this is Shri Ram’s spiritual element but his main element is ‘Rajdharma’ and dignity while the main element of Lord Krishna is Karmayoga and all the qualities of Yoga.
On the occasion, Pandurang Ji Maharaj, founder of Gatha Mandir, Dhule (Maharashtra) said that Godharma patron, protector of Hindu religion and founder of Swarajya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is the great deity of Maharashtra and Saint Divinity is revered Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj.
He said Shivaji Maharaj practiced and protected Hindu religion. The confluence of devotion and power of Maharashtra is shown here today in the form of a story, he said, adding, he is proud that the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is being told by Swami Govind Giri Ji Maharaj at Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar.
