SAMBA, May 31: The Entire goods in the Shiva Shakti Cotton House in Ward No 2 Bari Brahmana belonging to Manohar Lal, son of Milki Ram perished after it caught fire today.
As per the reports the fire was caused due to short circuit and soon it engulfed the entire Cotton House.
The three fire tenders were pressed into service to control the blaze and it managed to extinguish the fire in five hours.
The total loss was reported to be about Rs five lakh as all the goods and cotton bundles perished in fire.
Ram Gupta ex chairman, Municipality Bari Brahmna also visited the spot and assured the victim to seek due compensation from Government for the damage.
