JAMMU, July 6: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K Unit has said that it will celebrate August 5 as ‘Bharat Milan Divas’.
In a press conference here today J&K Shiv Sena president, Manish Sahni said, there is no doubt that J&K has been an integral part of India since independence but having a separate constitution, law and flag was a problem.
He also said that on August 5, 2019, NDA government at Center, of which Shiv Sena was also an ally, fully implemented one Nation, one Constitution policy ending the special status of J&K which was welcomed by the people of Jammu.
Sahni told reporters that Shiv Sena high command has also instructed the people of J&K to celebrate August 5 every year as ‘Bharat Milan Divas’ and take out a tricolor rally in all the districts and tehsils of J&K amidst pro-India slogans.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chibber; working president, Ashwini Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Secretary, Raj Singh, Bhuri Singh, Sanjeev Soodan and others were also present in the press conference.
