Shiv Sena starts Tailoring Centers in Kashmir

JAMMU, Jan 4: Shiv Sena J&K today started free tailoring centers in Kupwara district of Kashmir.
A handout of Shiv Sena stated that as part of campaign launched for women empowerment, Shiv Sena J&K has established the training centre to impart sewing and tailoring skills at Tehsil Kalapora in Kupwara and village Champora in Handwara.
On the very first day of the opening, about a dozen women got themselves registered to learn tailoring skills which will be a two months course.
Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni said that opening of the centre is part of the campaign launched under the guidance of Shiv Sena national secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, Anil Desai especially for the empowerment of women in J&K.
He said that more Centers will also be opened soon.
