JAMMU, June 21: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta demanding clarification from ‘Gupkar Declaration’ leaders about their stand on Article 370 and delimitation.
It is pertinent to mention here that after getting invitation for all party meeting on June 24 from Home Secretary, all political parties of J&K including ‘Gupkar Gang’ are holding parleys.
Ashok Gupta said before leaving for the meeting ‘Gupkar Declaration’ leaders should clear their stand on certain controversial statements uttered by some of these leaders after the abrogation of Article 370.
He said that Kashmiri Pandits are prime sufferers of terrorist violence in Kashmir and if their representatives are not invited for talks, there would always be doubts and apprehensions in their minds.
Gupta stated that formation of PAGD was to restore Article 370 and autonomy of J&K and if Gupkar leaders visit PMO in meeting it would clearly indicate that Kashmiri leaders have accepted the fate and 370 is a thing of past and the eyewash which this ‘Gupkar Gang’ is doing in the eyes of Kashmiris.
Party workers present in the protest were Abhishek, Ashish, Bantu, Nanki, Bhajo, Sushma, Prem, Naresh, Anita, Shashi, Satya and others.
