JAMMU, Aug 3: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K chief, Manish Sahni has asked Shiv Sainiks to go among the public and listen their issues and gear up for upcoming Panchayat elections.
Sahni was speaking at a programme organized here today in which dozens of local women joined Shiv Sena (UBT) at village Finder in R.S Pura.
Sahni announced Vandana Singh as block president of Women Wing of Shiv Sena and Geeta Devi as general secretary.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber welcomed the new entrants into the Party with Shiv Bandhan and Party symbol.
Villagers apprised the Shiv Sena leaders about their common problems like water drainage, dilapidated roads, poor drains and electricity and water crisis. Sahni said that public tax money is being wasted in the name of smart cities whereas the villages have been deprived of even basic amenities.
