Shiv Sena demands scrapping of SRO 202

JAMMU, June 8: Activists of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K Unit today staged a silence protest demonstration demanding scrapping of SRO 202.
Addressing the protesters Shiv Sena J&K President, Manish Sahni said more than 10 months have passed when Article 370 was scrapped but still the old thinking and policies are prevailing.
He said, despite protests recruitments under SRO 202 are being carried out in J&K.
Sahni said that it is unfortunate for the people of J&K that there is no elected Government in the Union Territory due to which not even a single law has been enacted in the last ten months in J&K.
He said that in current recruitment process, districts and tehsils are being given importance and none is paying any heed to merit.
Shiv Sena Working President Ashwini Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Secretary, Raj Singh, Bhuri Singh, Raju Salaria and others were also present in the protest.
