JAMMU, Mar 15: Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha J&K has elected Shashi Verma as its president while Vijay Kumar has been elected as general secretary.
A handout of Sabha stated that election for the president and general secretary was conducted as per the procedure and methods laid down in the Sabha constitution.
The Election Committee comprised of Amarjeet Chargotra, Chairman; Balwant Kataria, Ravi Kant Verma, Ashok Goutam, Master Pritam Verma and Master Krishan Sabharwal-all Members.
Prominent among others who cast their votes were Labha Ram Gandhi, refugee leader; Rashpal Verma and Kuldeep Verma, ex-vice chairmen OBC Board; Lakhpat Rai, Col C.D Manhotra, Harbans Lal and others.
