AKHNOOR, Dec 19: BJP leader and Member of District Development Council, Pandit Suresh Sharma here today inaugurated development works to be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 20 lakh in Panchayat Kandi and Nardi of Chhamb Assembly Constituency. These works include road construction to Gurudwara Sabha in village Godan, Crematorium Ghat road in Bala, Mohalla Balkar Singh road and new hand pump at the crematorium.
Suresh Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that he was trying to ensure that every village gets metalled roads, sufficient quantity of drinking water at every house and electricity infrastructure should be good while the level of education should also be good and health related facilities should be available in every village.
On this occasion senior BJP leader Master Sansar Singh, Sarpanch Nisha Malhotra, Sarpanch Tarlochan Dutt, Ex-Sarpanch Milkhi Ram, BJP Mandal general secretary, Master Chanchal Singh, Minority Morcha District President, Gurpal Singh, Lal Singh, Daleep Singh, Mehar Singh, Ashok Singh, Balkar Singh, Paramjit Singh, Yash Paul Singh, Pawan Paul Singh, Gurmeet Kour, Balwant Singh and other were also present.
