NEW DELHI: JD(U) rebel leader Sharad Yadv will launch new political party after the Election Commission of India allotted the party symbol ‘arrow’ to the Nitish Kumar faction.
Talking to mediapersons after the rebel faction’s national executive here, general secretary Arun Kumar Srivastava said their faction will contest in Gujarat election in seven seats under the locally formed new outfit ‘Bhartiya Tribal Party, whose symbol will be autorikshaw.
“We cannot wait for the court ruling to launch our new party. Several parties are in talks with Sharad Yadav. We are talking to everybody. Within a week or ten days or maximum after Gujarat election, we will form our new party at Talkatora Stadium,” Mr Srivastava said. (AGENCIES)
