JAMMU, Aug 8: Shantmanu, an IAS officer of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, now AGMUT, has been granted proforma promotion to Apex Scale (Level-17). He is presently posted as Development Commissioner (Handicrafts)
Two other IAS officers of AGMUT cadre Amit Yadav and Vijay Kumar of 1991 and 1992 batch respectively have also been promoted.
Shantmanu had held several important postings in Jammu and Kashmir including Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) J&K and Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
Presently, he is on Central deputation.
