JAMMU, July 30: State Cabinet is likely to order posting of Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Shant Manu as new Divisional Commissioner of Jammu.
Official sources told EXCELSIOR that Government has decided to appoint Shant Manu as new head of Jammu province, the post of which has fallen vacant due to the superannuation of Pradeep Gupta. Shant Manu has earlier served as Managing Director, Power Development Corporation and Commissioner Secretary Forest.
They disclosed that Legislative Council Secretary, Mohd Ashraf Mir is likely to be posted as new Secretary of Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. This post is going to fall vacant with the superannuation of Farhat Tasneem.
Sources informed that Cabinet is likely to order some more transfers in order to fill the post of Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department etc.
