Sham reiterates demand of CM from Jammu

AKHNOOR, Dec 10: Minister for PHE, I&FC and Congress candidate from Akhnoor Sham Lal Sharma has reiterated his demand of having Chief Minister from Jammu region.
Addressing large number of people including youth along with Rohit Sharma, younger brother of local BJP candidate, at Daskal in Akhnoor, Sham Lal Sharma, pledged that Congress has envisaged crucial role for Jammu youths and exhorted them to join his struggle for their rights and to strive for next Chief Minister from Jammu.
Mr Sharma said, “We seek massive popular mandate to enable next Government to be formed by Congress. My struggle for Jammu CM will certainly yield desired results. He felicitated the new entrants in Congress, who deserted BJP. Rohit Sharma, BJP candidate’s brother complimented Mr Sharma for his exemplary performance during 12 years tenure and told that people of Akhnoor are fully aware of developmental works executed here.
He stated that compared to the several multiple development works executed in entire Akhnoor constituency during 55 years by Sham’s predecessors, his performance was more than three times as road connectivity increased from 32% to 90%, education from Primary to Degree level, Health Services improved throughout the constituency, where Patwar Khana not existed, Sub- District status, Tehsil, Niabat are provided.
He alleged that BJP was now working on their Hurriyat Conference and National Conference hijacked agendas, put Article 370 into dustbin and Hindu CM issues to bargain with separatists Jammu interests, as well as betraying those nationalist forces that saved State from slipping into secessionists’ hands. Mr Sharma said that Jammu people have made up their minds to teach lesson to BJP for betrayal and shift to Kashmir.
Pranav Shagotra, vice president, Pradesh Youth Congress and Satish Sharma, president, PYC (Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency), addressing election meeting welcomed Mr Rohit Sharma in PYC and appealed youths to work hard for the victory of Sham Lal Sharma. They stated that Mr Sharma’s victory is not only the victory for Akhnoor but voting a bold voice of Jammu who is sole hope for the discriminated Jammu masses to struggle for their denied rights.
