JAMMU, Jan 14: Former Minister and senior BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma today inaugurated Bhagwati Healthcare and Diagnostics center in Akhnoor.
As per a press statement, the healthcare center inaugurated will benefit a sizeable population of Jourian, Khour, Akhnoor, Sohal, Maira Mandrian, Chowki Choura, Khrah Balli and other areas.
Ankush Bhardwaj, proprietor of the healthcare center said that the mission of the center is to bring healthcare of high standards within the reach of every individual.
“Our focus is to provide quality services to the customers,” he said.
According to him, the healthcare center equipped with the facility of latest X-ray, ECG, Ultrasound and other equipment, shall be the official collection center of Swastik Diagnostics in Akhnoor.
Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma congratulated the owners for setting up the advanced healthcare center in Akhnoor.
He said the growth of the private healthcare sector in Akhnoor is providing relief to the people of three sub-divisions: Akhnoor, Khour, and Chowki Choura.
He said that it is a sort of relief for the people that they don’t have to travel to Jammu or outside the UT for quality diagnosis “as we have number of options available in Akhnoor now”.
Sharma said that UT of J&K is the only region where people have cent percent health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh, extendable in case of aggravated life diseases, for which credit goes to PM Narendra Modi.
Others who accompanied Sham Lal Sharma were Tilak Gupta, Thoru Ram Sharma, Mangu Ram Sharma, Jagdish Bhagat and other prominent citizens of the area.
