JAMMU, May 6: Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma today released the 1st edition of ‘Bhagwan Parshuram Thithi Patar Panchang’ calendar, brought out by Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma termed the Panchang as a ready source of information about all local fairs, festivals and auspicious occasions, accurate dates and timing about the festivals and events like eclipses etc.
He appreciated Mahant Rohit Shastri Jyotish Acharya, the Editor in Chief of the Panchang callender and sponsor of Panchang Callender Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha president Atul Sharma for working towards preservation of their culture and their moral values.
During release of the Panchang Calendar, other dignitaries present on the occasion, included Advocate Pawan Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Akash Raina, Bhuvan Sharma, Sukaraman Khajuria, Munish Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Vanshaj Sharma, Vasu Sethi, Karan Sharma and Nitish Sharma.
