Sham Gorkha, a progress farmer of village Jinder Melhu, R S Pura, Jammu, who has been awarded “Innovative Farmer Award for Sustainable and Profitable Agriculture” with a shawl and certificate of appreciation for adoption of innovative techniques in agriculture in recently held Krishi Vigyan Mela, organized at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. Mr Khan applauded the efforts made by SKUAST-J in providing recent technologies and demonstrating the same at his farm. His candidature for the award was proposed by SKUAST-J.
