Sham asks teachers to maintain highest standards of academia

JAMMU, Nov 23: Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary today asked teachers to maintain high standards of education to prepare students to achieve excellence in the fields of their choice.
The Minister was addressing staff and students after laying the foundation stone of compound wall of Govt Boys High School, Badyal Brahmana in Miran Sahib.
The boundary wall to be constructed at the cost of Rs 3 lakh would provide safety and security to 141 children studying in the school.
The Minister said that the priority of the Government is to provide best possible facilities to the students for their overall development.
He called upon teachers to maintain high standards of education for shaping the career of students and prepare them mentally for facing any challenge in their future. Extra efforts should be made by the teaching staff for achieving best possible results, he added.
On the occasion, the school management also projected the demand for construction of examination hall, new classrooms and play ground.
The management also sought installation of additional hand pump in the school for the benefit of the students.
The Minister assured that the issues would be resolved in a phased manner.
