JAMMU, May 20: State President of Pardesh Youth Congress, Shahnawaz Chowdhary visited different constituencies of Jammu and interacted with the people.
He visited Bishnah, R S Pura, Sachetgarh, Samba, Vijaypur, Raipur Domana, Jammu West and Gandhi Nagar. During his visit besides having dialogues with the party workers, he also addressed the public gatherings.
During his address, Mr Shahwanaz stressed on the general awareness regarding the schemes being run by the Central Government for the welfare of the people. He said people should take benefit from these schemes, which are meant for the welfare of the people as if the benefit does not reach them the schemes become meaningless.
Commenting on the role of youth, Shahnawaz Chowdhary said that the youth of the society should realize their responsibilities and play a part in the development of the crime free and peaceful society.
He said that Congress is dedicated to the welfare of the society and public at large. He said, Congress provides platform for the youths to come forward and highlight the issues of the people and their respective communities.
He appealed the workers and leaders of the Youth Congress to work hard at the ground level to solve the issues of the people.
Prominent among those who accompanied Shahnawaz Chowdhary were, Charanjit Singh, Rajan Sharma, Kamal Jeet, Shabir Kohli, Neeraj Kundan and others.
